Bruce Chehroudi, PhD

Dr. Chehroudi, has accumulated years of technical and leadership experiences in different capacities and organizations. This includes such positions as a Principal Scientist and Group Leader appointment at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) ERCInc, a Chief Scientist at Raytheon STX, a Visiting Technologist at Ford’s Advanced Manufacturing Technology Development (AMTD) center, a tenured Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Kettering University and University of Illinois, and served as a Senior Research Staff/Research Fellowship at Princeton University. Dr. Chehroudi directed numerous multimillion dollar interdisciplinary projects in areas involving chemically reacting flows, combustion and emission of pollutants, sustainable and alternative energy sources, distributed ignition, material/fuel injection, advanced pollution reduction technologies, propulsion concepts, gas turbine and liquid rocket engines, combustion instability, laser optical diagnostics, spectroscopy, supercritical fluids and applications in environmental and propulsion systems, advanced composites, MEMS, nanotechnology, and micro fluidics. He has won many merit and leadership awards by such prestigious organizations as the Society of Automotive Engineers (1. Arch. T. Colwell Merit Award for technical excellence only to top 1% yearly, 2. Ralph R. Teetor Award for outstanding teaching/research/leadership, 3. Forest R. McFarland Award for sustained leadership in professional and educational service and a key contributor to the Continuing Professional Development Group, 4. Appreciation Award for 10 years of dedicated and inspiring  service and commitment to providing quality technical education, and  5. Outstanding Faculty Advisor), American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (Best Publication Award of the Year), Air Force Research Laboratories (1. Outstanding Technical Publication Award, and 2. STAR Team Award for demonstrating world-class combined scientific and leadership achievements), Institute of Liquid Atomization and Sprays Systems (Marshall Award for best publication with lasting contributions), Liquid Propulsion Sub-committee of Joint Army-Navy-NASA-Air Force (JANNAF) (Best Liquid Propulsion Paper Award involving undergraduate/graduate students),  and the 2nd International Symposium on Turbulence and Shear Flow Phenomena (Top 10 Technical Publication Award). He has been a consultant with many organizations such as, Ford, GM, Honda R&D, AFRL, Honeywell, NASA, AFOSR, VW, Bosch, Siemens, NGK, Cummins, and TRW. Through professional societies, Dr. Chehroudi delivers invited professional seminars on Management of R&D Teams and Organizations, Management of Innovation, Combustion and Emission of Pollutants in Automotive and Gas Turbine Engines, Ignition Issues, Gasoline Direct Injection engines, R&D on Homogeneously-Charged Compression Ignition (HCCI) engines, and Liquid Injection Technologies. He has a PhD in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering and Post-Doctoral Fellow (Princeton University), MS in Mechanical Engineering (Southern Methodist University, Summa Cum Laude), MS in Economics (Swiss Finance Institute, Magna Cum Laude), a senior member of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Propellant & Combustion Committee (2008-present), and is an Associate Fellow of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Dr. Chehroudi acts as a reviewer for many scientific and engineering journals and publishers, has delivered over 200 presentations in technical meetings and to nontechnical audiences, over 20 technical reports (Princeton University, General Motors, Ford Motor Co, Department of Energy, NASA, Air Force Research Laboratory), five 600-plus-page monographs on combustion and emission of pollutants from mobile power plants, ignition technologies, liquid material injection, and nanotechnology,   two book chapters on propulsion system combustion instability and applications of graphene (a nanotech product) in ignition and combustion of fuels, ground-breaking patents on applications and synergy between nanotechnology, light, and chemical reaction for a light-activated distributed ignition of fuel-air mixtures, and has more than 150 publications with extensive experience in both scientific and management areas and intensive trainings in finance and financial engineering.

Mary Hooshmand

Ms. Hooshmand strength and interest are in client relationship and business management. She delivers creative and targeted solutions to her clients by first listening and then tailoring solutions to address their needs. One of her strengths is making tough business decision under pressure and unusual circumstances while focusing on ROI (in terms of time, financial, and human resources) and company profitability. She strives on achieving strategic and targeted results and delivering creative, sustainable, and value-added solutions while building a long-term relationships with internal/external clients (client-centric service and partnership),

Ms. Hooshmand is a team player and understands that there is always room for improvement on personal and professional levels. While continuously has been developing her career, she concurrently pursued her education and completed a MS degree in Economics (major in Finance and Banking) with specialization in HNW-client wealth management (University of Lugano-Switzerland-2012), earned a certificate in private wealth management (Swiss Finance Institute-Zurich Switzerland-2011), CPA and CFA (2015), and received an intensive Executive MBA Training on combined Economic and Technology Management (Pepperdine University-2000).

She delivers quality and professional lifestyle-services and business analysis to HNW clients and single-family offices (SFO) for direct investment purposes - focused on partnering and establishing a trustworthy and long-term relationship with clients. Ms. Hooshmand works closely with investment analysts and client service managers ensuring execution of investment/product solutions, with special attention to, and resolution of operational risks as well as assisting them in research and identification of country geopolitical risks and presenting macroeconomic analysis.

Ms. Hooshmand has a proven track record in completing projects and delivering excellent services to clients with utmost level of professionalism and according to the established timeline. She formed a family-based wealth management team, acted as its leader and relationship manager, and has been able to successfully forecast the equity market downtrends of 2000 and 2008, real estate US cycle (her entry/exit: 1997/2006), and timely invested in commodities (e.g., gold; entry: 2002/holding position). In her early career, she successfully developed businesses plan and cost model for “Make vs. Buy” in relation to a transfer of $12 million operation to Far East, which resulted in $2.2 million cost reduction. In addition, she led the transfer of operation, managed execution of all aspects of logistics, and headed the personnel training program at destination for seamless global operation. Ms. Hooshmand is skilled in working with teams having diverse cultural and language backgrounds as well as possessing professional experience in large and multi-national organization such as Ford Motor Company, Bosch Corporation (corporate management representative), and Schlumberger (supply chain management), medium size (Spectrian), and small companies.

Ms. Hooshmand adds value to her organization by utilizing her service-centric approach to team members and clients, exposure to international business, and professional competencies.

Through team-oriented service and partnership approach, she builds a trustworthy and long-term relationship with her team members, colleagues, and clients. Her background combined with experience in conducting business in China, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Switzerland, France, Italy, Mexico, and United State (West and East Coast), made her a resourceful person with a business insight and creative problem solving techniques. Yasi Campbell  

Yasi Campbell is Manager of  Business Development at ATC. Yasi's passions lie at the intersections of education, technology, research and entrepreneurship. She has been a Product Manager at the Cornerstone On Demand, working specifically on educational software designed for larger-scale learning purposes. She is also a consultant to various education-related technology companies on program design, community building, and content production.Some of her clients include Common Sense Media, Green Dot Public Schools, Real Office Spaces (ROC) and School of Devs. One of her expertise is in iterative skills-based learning environments. Additionally, she is a lead board member of the Associate Board of Visitors for the Department of Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She heads the alumni effort in creating the Bruin Development Academy and the Social Enterprise Academy - both skills and project-based learning courses.

Previously, Yasi was the Education Programs Manager at General Assembly in Los Angeles where she was responsible for the development and production of all of their Los Angeles education offerings. She trained and led a team of 26 instructors to advance the education of over 200 students. She improved the internal company metrics of satisfaction, instructor development and retention by 40%, a company-wide all-time high historical record. Prior to General Assembly, Yasi worked as a Senior Research Manager at Lieberman Research Worldwide, with many years experience in market research. She is an expert in creating, executing and managing large-scale qualitative and quantitative research projects. Overall, she has a multidisciplinary background with strengths in a number of areas including - learning strategy and product design, employee training and mentorship, programs creation/planning/execution, evaluation, improvement and iteration.

Yasi earned her B.A. in Economics and Applied Developmental Psychology from the UCLA in 2009.
